Inversion Table

What is an inversion table?

An inversion table has shown to be helpful in a variety of situations, such as back pain, easing stress and tension, reducing joint pressure, maintaining flexibility, and building core strength. Inversion helps to relax tense muscles and decompress the spine to reduce loads on the discs between each vertebra. This can help keep painful pressure off of the spinal nerves.

Teeter NXT-S

The inversion table at Whitehorse Osteopathy is provided to patients with the intention of introducing them to a form of long-term pain management for their body, either at home with the purchase of their own table or for continued use at the clinic. Inversion sessions are provided free of charge or by donation.

Inversion is not for everyone, but may be recommended by Tana as a complement to your treatment plan. Inversion introductory appointments are supervised and must be booked first as you will receive information on the safe use of the table during your first session. Follow-up sessions can be booked at your own convenience and are not supervised.
